Having filmed some weddings myself, I had high expectations for the finished results as well as an understanding of some of the challenges that a videographer faces... Working with John was a delight and I had enough trust in his taste and ability to allow him complete artistic liberty. The end result was phenomenal. My wife and I watched it together the first time and it made for a very special moment. We were both incredibly impressed and immediately shared it with our friends and family.

My greatest fear was that our wedding was more stripped down then most and that it might pose a challenge trying to put together a full video without some of the main events that most weddings include. Whether this was something that John struggled with in the editing room or not is not evident, because he put together a wonderful video that perfectly captured the feel of the wedding. On top of that, John went above and beyond in the packaging and delivery of his services in a manner that required the hand-crafted personal detail of an individual who takes great care in his customers and his product.

My wife and I are incredibly thankful and indebted to Umbrella Tree Films for their services. I highly recommend them!

John's work is amazing! We are totally in love with the family film he made for us. He is personable and pleasant to be around, not distracting while filming and he really figured out how to capture, edit and present that which is our family in just four minutes.

I was admittedly a little nervous about the music-picking process because I'm pretty particular about that aspect of filmmaking but John listened well to our requests and music tastes and hit the nail on the head with the song he chose. It was incredible!

I am so impressed with this piece of art that encapsulates our family and look forward to hiring John again and again as our family grows and our children age! Thank you John!!

Just finished watching our family’s film about 10 times and I am so incredibly pleased with the video that Umbrella Tree Films produced!

I was slightly apprehensive at first, because the everyday moments of family life don’t always feel particularly special or even memorable, but I am so glad we had UTF capture our family! The film is an amazing reminder of how truly beautiful and blessed our lives are. John did such a great job of capturing the reality of our family in the most stunning way.
